"Spokes" (2020)
Personal Project: Two months after Canada's major lockdown effort as a result of the Covid 19 pandemic, the City of Vancouver decided to close specific roads to cars, and allow access to cyclists. I was isolating in Sooke, BC at the time, and wanted to hear about this change from my bike enthusiast roommate in Vancouver. The voiceover is a recording from our conversation, which accompanies eco-processed Super8 footage, filmed in Sooke.
